Most neck and back problems are a result of poor posture, degenerative disease, injury / trauma or lack of muscle tone and core strength. All this may effect mobility and function which will cause pain, stiffness and decreased activity. Examples of common neck and back problems include degenerative conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, herniated, ruptured discs, nerve root impingement, scoliosis-curvature of the spine and general everyday stress which may cause neck and back muscles to become tense and painful.
